Short version: we only email weekly deals, you can unsubscribe anytime, and we never sell your email.

The newsletter

• What we collect: just your email address, and only after you confirm it by clicking the link we send (double opt-in).
• What we send: the weekly RaleighFreebies roundup of verified freebies, deals and discounts. A labeled sponsor spot may appear in it. We never hand your address to sponsors.
• Who handles it: our email provider, Resend, stores the list and delivers the emails for us. We don't sell, rent or share your email with anyone else.
• Unsubscribing: every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link. Once you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you.
• No tracking pixels: open and click tracking are turned off on our emails.

Spam protection

To stop abuse, the signup form uses short-lived counters tied to a scrambled (hashed) version of your connection and email address. They expire on their own within 24 hours.

The website

The site is a set of static pages. It has no ads, no analytics scripts and no tracking cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs to keep the site secure and running.

Links to other sites

Every listing links to the business or organizer's own page. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
